William Hill’s net revenue grew by 1% last year

William Hill has reported last year’s financial results. According to published data, company’s net revenue reached over £1.6 billion. That’s an increase of 1% as compared to 2015.

Adjusted operating income equaled to £261.5 million, and adjusted earnings per share decreased by 10% over the year.

Company management says that the last year was complicated but successful, as far as the basis was laid to achieve good results in the nearest future. This year, main efforts will be focused on increasing the British market share. Significant investments in marketing and implementation of new technologies are planned.

Philip Bowcock, new CEO at William Hill, noted that all business spheres within the company showed promising growth traces, especially in the online segment.

It should be mentioned that Philip Bowcock took up the post in late February, having replaced James Henderson. Earlier, he had worked as William Hill’s chief financial officer.
